De bonne heure sur le campus pour pr廧arer une randonn嶪, j'ai eu le plaisr de prendre ce contrejour alors que le soleil faisait fondre la premi鋨e gel嶪 de l'automne, et que le promeneur respirait fort l'air froid.

you've captured the mood and the moment nicely, claude ~
and the light is perfect. i love the two lone silhouettes of the tree and the man,
as well as the matching frosty breath mirrored by the frost on the grass.

hi claude. this photo is fresh like the frost on the grass! gentle light on the grass and the colorful leaves. the visibly freezing breath of the walking man and two parallel shades are lovely details.

Just topclass !! Very nice capture of this cold early morning scenery with this lonesome walker. Nice long shadows and at the upper part very nice autumnal colors. Nice framed.

Capture parfaite et le calendrier ! J'aime comment les rayons du soleil illuminent doucement sur les feuilles, cr嶧nt les belles couleurs d'automne. La pr廥ence de l'homme se sentant et respirer de l'air froid ajout� l'int廨皻 sur la photo. Au d嶵ut, je pensais qu'il fumait. Nice photo:-)

Bonjour Claude,

This shot depicts autumn as well as any that I have seen. Other show the colours, yours adds temperature! There is no denying the cold, from the frost sprinkled grass to the steamy breath.
The leaves, with their illuminated colours, create a beautiful canopy, whilst the shadows act as leads.

About time to have some of the white stuff, i think not often you get to see the contrast between the cold white frost and the warm autumnal colours. You certainly were out early to get this lovely back lighting shot, the warm cracking light makes this a very lovely image shinning up the red leaves there first thing in the morning. Love how you have framed this one putting the guy in the context Wonderful shot of a wonderful location, Yeahhh to the weather makes me shiver. Congrats

This is a delightful photograph which shows the beginnings of winter, beautifully taken against the light or, as we say in English, contre jour!

The lovely backlighting has illuminated the golden leaves on the tree and they form a fine frame to the image. The man walking with his breath clearly visible in the cold air is a very welcome added feature and really brings life to the picture.

Lovely light and colours, perfect exposure and excellent details and sharpness.

Hello Claude - This captures the feeling of a cold winter's morning very well. The low sun casts long shadows and gives the leaves and the breath from the man wonderful back-lighting. The main elements stand out against the more shadowy and distant BG features. An impressive shot. Have a lovely weekend Rosemary

The lighting is really special in this photo. I like the way it illuminates the remaining leaves from behind, and highlights the man's breath. This year autumn and winter seem to be mixed together. The frost on the ground, and the bits of fall color, add even more detail to this lovely scene.
