Photographer's Note
While basking in the sun on the beach, some young people did not hesitate to jump from the pier in the deep water

Bonjour, Claude,
Ce n'est pas le saut de l'ange, mais quand même, il faut le faire.
Très bonne prise de vue.
Amitiés.

Hello Claude, Amusing picture with these brave women jumping from this rusty tower. I would be afraid to do this. Lovely vertical composition.

Hi Claude
Perfect timing, the sense of movement and falling is superb. Beautiful colors and textures in that old iron pole too. Great shot
Cheers

Hello Claude,
To me this photo has a strong retro appearance. It's mainly the colours that make it look old, like the lighter "halos" around the two girls, but also the very old look of the pillar and ladder. The retro style could symbolize the timelessness of enjoying summer and swimming. It's a very well timed shot and refreshingly different from the eternal beautiful churches and castles.
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Claude
Not quite sharp (and maybe that adds to the retro feel that Gert has identified), but an interesting image. I just hope the water's deep enough: it's clearly not high tide! Radical and effective crop.

Hello Claude,
People take gladly risk so close against the pilar, but a pity this is not our mistake.
Your picture is very nice to look at.
Composition and subject, are superb.
An excellent presentation, sharp and clear picture.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Bonjour Claude,
Un petit flou chez la sauteuse , mais un flou intéressant même à 1/600 de seconde. Tu devais être très loin du sujet.Il y a beaucoup de textures dans le bas du plongeoir.
Amicalement

Salut Claude
Like many of your images this one depends on timing and you really did very well to capture the woman "mid-flight" so she looks as if she were suspended in the air.
The image has a strong "old timey" feel, achieved while shooting or in pp, either way it's nice. It looks like a scanned neg film.
Best wishes

Hello Claude,
This photo really does have a vintage feeling to it, and those people are crazy for jumping off that giant platform!! Maybe they were inspired by diving at the Olympics. ;-) The woman's pose is great, and I like the thin, vertical presentation.

Salut Claude,
Bon format pour présenter cette scène dynamique capturée au bon moment, un drôle de plongeoir, belle lumière, peut être qu'un peu plus de netteté ferait encore plus d'effet.

Bonjour Claude,
This looks to be quite scary as the girl seems to me to be very close to that huge pillar - so I hope the water where she is about to land is deep enough and that there's not any rocks or projections under the water!
A brilliantly taken candid shot with perfect timing, obviously taken on a long lens from some distance, showing real action with the girl's hair flying up above her and her arms lifted in anticipation. Spot-on exposure and lovely colours and sharpness.
Brilliant!
Kind Regards,
John.

Dear Claude,
Just like Gert, I thought it was an analog photo. Anyway it isn't the technique what really matters. Excellent shot!
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Claude
A very good action picture you caught it just at the right time freezing her at the thirds of frame. A good view point to give the height, indeed good to photographic fun with fruitful result, Congrats.

Hi Claude
how could i not take a second glance or closer look at this one. It put a smile on my face for sure.
there are a couple of things that catch my eye right away.
First is the rusted ol post, it seems to have seen much better days long ago, but the rust adds that very important UGLY charm.
and second, is obviously the girl - but whats so cool is that you captured her at the Top of her fall, giving the scene more drama - or at least it does in my opinion.
well captured
cheers

Hello Claude,
I like the rusty colors and the frozen action as well as the bookmark aspect ratio. I would, however, be afraid to jump in that murky water with all the exposed mussels.

Bonsoir Clodo,
this picture is fascinating for its original composition, decisive moment, vintage colours and carefree atmosphere. I like very much how you combined the structure and the scene with a vertical frame, your choice suits perfectly both the graphism and the action. It looks like a classic to me. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
Ourania

Du flou et des couleurs pour un style argentique et mélancolique qui me rappelle mes vieilles diapos . Une photo qui semble sortie d'un vieil album, j'aime beaucoup.
Il y a une trace jaune qui accompagne le saut ?
