Hello Claude,
this one goes straight to my favourites. Did you know that the word "sauf" in German is the imperative form of "to booze"?
I always smile when I see this boards in France.
Kind regardsd,
Elvira

Hello Claude,
It's a bright and funny photo, but what do the signs really mean? Is it forbidden to drink Bordeaux wines if you're driving a car, but perfectly okay to be stoned drunk on a bicycle?
Regards,
Gert

Bonjour Claude,
This will encourage to be drunk on a bike.
No fine if you have drunk too much Bordeaux wine, but probably a hefty fine if the drunkenness is the result of beer or other inferior wine. 😉
Excellent observation!
Have a nice day, groet Rob

Bonjour Claude,
Oh, this is great!
The French have a very subtle sense of humour when it comes to road signs!
I once posted photographs of a set of six road signs that had been 'adapted', from a village in Finistere.
The results were very amusing!
Thanks for sharing this,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Claude,
Presque un sacrilège de renverser du vin de Bordeaux et je comprends qu'on avertisse les gens. Une affiche originale qui appelle le cliché.
Amicalement

Hello Claude,
A cool new traffic sign, hopefully not many people will break this law. Excellent close-up photo with a very appealing red colour of course, especially with the grey surroundings.

Hi Claude,
It is just fantastic to see such inventive versions of common traffic signs. Red and white fit perfectly with this theme. And no doubt locals are proud of their wines!

Dear Claude,
I couldn't agree more with these signs. Wine is intended to be drunken not to spill. :)
Best Wishes,

Hi Claude
Now I have come across some wine in my travels that deserve not to be spilt but deserve to be emptied quickly onto the ground.
A great sign and well spotted.
cheers

Bonjour Claude,
This kind of sign is something I never seen. Unusual and unique - but tell much about the people in this village that appreciate their product to a level of worshipping...
Au revoir,
Ike
