Another good comparison shot between Autumn and winter. Good sharpness and the evergreen conifers are the same in both shots. The footprints in the snow wisely deviate around the hole at right. Tfs!

Great shots of the mountain valley and there's a lot to look from two diff seasons. Both are impressive to look at, especially I love how those sturdy trees survive, tons of detail, light patches and the blueness reinforces the cold. Excellent worth your effort

Again a beautiful two-faced scenery taken between two seasons, the position of your POV ideally shows the amazing landscape at high elevation. It would be nice to rediscover the same panorama view during spring-summer seasons. TFS.

Hello Jean,
It's a good idea to make these comparisons between different seasons of the year. Although it's no surprise to see the differences, it's still fascinating to see how nature changes in a few months. The distant peak had almost as much snow in autumn. Both photos are technically excellent and you really made sure to stand in almost exactly the same place both times.

Hello Jean,
Again two excellent photos from different seasons, which let us compare the differences. It is a beautiful place with the valley and river in between the steep slopes. The sunlight was wonderful in both photos.

Hi Jean,
Just fantastic pair of photos from different seasons. No wonder this is a place where you want to return. I especially like the bottom one. Pure white snow where the stream runs through, and mountain background looks great. As you know I have travelled a lot on the Alps. Maybe it is time for the Pyrenees next. But obviously it will take time before that happens.
