Why not Smile ?
1th August. Just a beautiful day at the farm.
on the late evening, we're happy to enjoy a dinner with our cousins.
then I see over the window of the kitchen this scene.
I ask the woman if I can go out to take some shots.
I think she smiled.
perhaps I took the shot partly to remember her smile.

NB. this is the second shot of the series dealing with this tree.

superb lighting, lovely colors and contrast.reflection on the road devide the photo to two part. a warm part at bottom and cool part at the top.

i like the way u composed it.putting the tree at the lower-right corner will lead the eyes to it when someone look at it.

A nice composition, wouldbe a fine photo on any day but there seems to be something special about this moment David. This light that falls only on the road..what a curious phenomenon!

A superb light!
Good composition with the big path conducting to the tree.
I feel too much sky here, as it does not have the same ambiance than the foreground.

Le point de vue est excellent, la route lumineuse qui m鋝e le regard jusque l'arbre est bien plac嶪 dans le clich�.
Les couleurs semblent quelque peu "forc嶪s" mais cela n'enl鋦e rien au clich�, au contraire.

宄ta es una de esas fotos en donde la luz lo es todo. Como en los cuadros impresionistas, m嫳 que el detalle importa la sensaci鏮 que transmite la luz: aumentar la definici鏮 de la imagen en esta foto ser燰 un error, pues ayudar燰 a perder un poco la magia de la foto.

Un muy buen trabajo.

Salut David. It is hard to smile when one's breath is taken away by what the eyes see. And here the eye sees the wonder of creation. It must be so rewarding to be able to capture such a glorious moment and share it with so many.Friendship, warmth, the contentment after a hard day's labour on the land-it's all there.

Hi David. When both light and composition are exceptional, you end up with a "wow" photo, and this is one of them. I applaud your decision to take your point of view from almost in the middle of the intersection so as to get these broad sweeping curves of the road in the foreground. A wonderful warm image - well done.
