Photographer's Note
Well, what I liked the most here was the contrasting presence of the highway along the Seine bank which seemed really dynamic with the lights of the cars passing by together with the beautiful, massive historical buildings in the background.
I hope you like this too.
I just recropped the picture so as to give more presence to the "Conciergerie" and the Justice Hall which have been restored recently. I do love their stone towers, they are so gorgeous.

I like night photos. I very much like the feel of motion that is created by the car lights due to the long exposure. I also like the reflection of the green lights on the water and the shadow of the bridge. Really nice shot. Well done!

Steven I like the way your image uses composition and two extremes of light, hard and soft too combine the two to such an effect , this is a pleasing contrast has worked quite well, might benefit from a very small amount of selective sharpening to upper bridge area and above "just a thought".... most enjoyable a very good posting.

Je suis surtout attiré par la partie Conciergerie et celle du pont. La netteté est parfaite et l'exposition est correcte.
Mais la voie sur berges est un peu surex à la sortie de l'arche.

Good shot Steven.
good composition and well timed exposure.
I'm pretty sure I saw another shot of the same place (but from a different angle...) was it yours ?
Good job anyway.

Classic night scene, very well composed here. contrast old/new shadow/highlight is perfect.
Like didi says there is a bit too much of overexposure on the road below the bridge, I tried to compensate with photoshop - not much success :) - see my workshop!

Very nice night shot. I miss Paris so much...
The lights on the right lead the eye to the Palace on the background. Very well done. Allow me to make only one small sugestion. I believe you used the "fine" or the "automatica" settings to the white balance on your camera. Did you try shooting in "incandescent" white balance mode? I guess it would produce more natural colors.
Nevertheless this is a very very nice image. Congratulations.

beautiful! great and careful composition, well balanced lights and shadows, maybe there is a bit too much light under the bridge, but still it is a very good work.

Great night shot Steven! Amazing motion on those light traces and mazing colors on the buildings. A great composition and your contrasting themes here are very interesting too. Great job!

An excellent night shot, Steven. The car lights make it very dynamic. I also like the long shadow of the railing in the water and the light on the left hand bridge. Well done.

Indeed you have a great photo here. Just as you , i like the contrast of the Seine and the high way. The light trails leads teh viewer in to the photo and the bridge and the building. I like the hint of green in the ligh reflected in the river as well as the light poles.

Great night shot. Interesting mood. Good composition. Nicely realized. The lights leaved by car on the right are a little bit strng and catch our eyes maybe too much, but...it's not a big deal! I like your shot. Bravo!

Lovely night shot Steven, I like teh different colours reflected in the water, and the shadow of the handrail. The brightness of the car's headlights is suggestive of the noisy highway, compared to the tranquil river.

Beautifull image full of dinamics. Great details and effect with the lights.
Have you thought taking one sooner, where some blue still can be seen in the sky? I guess it would stunning...

Fantastic smooth shot! And then without the cars, just their lights. Great effect!
PS: I remembered a twin shot by Claudio/Clapox.

Great picture ! On the forground, there is a very parisian detail : the "head" of a public trash. (the bottom was took away for after-september-11th security reasons)

Hola Steven.
