Voici une nouvelle photo d'un autre morceau de la fresque de graffiti toute proche de la gare de Rennes, cette fois en NB. J'ai d幨ib廨ement pouss� les contrastes loin et noirci un peu l'image afin d'essayer de cr嶪r une atmosph鋨e.
Ce mur est vraiment superbe, il fait environ 100 m鋈res de long et est un vrai r嶲al pour les yeux.

Here is another picture of a piece of wall of graffiti, just near Rennes train station, this time in BW. I deliberatly enhanced contrasts and darken this picture in order to created a mood.
This wall is really beautiful, around 100 meters long, a delight for eyes.

le contraste a bien 彋� pouss� l� ; )
Une jeune dame au milieu de tous ces "hommes" � l'air patibulaire (plus s壜 de l'orthographe ; D ). Bonne position de cette dame dans l'ensemble de la compo.

I love waiting for the next of your wall-art photos. The wormy one, the deleted one and this B&W one make a good series indeed.
She looks like a courageous lady, passing by those angry guys without paying any attention. I'd love to see the colored version though, at least in the WS.

Pas mal, cette composition avec ce titre-l�, encore une fois, tu as r徼ssi � marier les graphs et le personnage.
Je pense que je pr嶨鋨e la pr嶰嶮ente parce qu'un peu plus 憝idente, mais celle-l� est tr鋊 bien aussi.

Bonjour Sebastien -

Is this truly graffiti or commissioned mural art? Or, are you using the term graffiti to explain urban murals or the style of mural art? Just a bit of confusion on my part as we in America see graffiti as a nuisance and a defacing action.

Back to the image, IMO I am not sure the conversion to B&W really works in this case. The pedestrian is almost lost in the art work. I do see what you are trying to portray as the womans facial expression and body language seems to match the art work. Just my 2-cents thought.

tr鋊 jolie fresque en effet, et puis cette femme passant devant n'a pas l'air effray�, pourtant elle pourrait l'皻re vu les t皻es patibulaires (je viens de m'apercevoir que Fred a utilis� le m瘱e adjectif, tant pis !!!) la regardant passer.
Tu as bien fait de pousser les contrastes, cela donne un tr鋊 bon N&B

This is a very interesting image!
A true glimpse of the street culture, and very representative of the nowadays events.
I like a lot the high contrast created by you, and the expression on the faces creates a very particular mood here.
Very good the scene catched, with the women walking in front of the wall painture, carrying their bags and inmerse in her own thoughts.
Perhaps the woman could be more noticeable? I mean, you have to look for a bit to found them between all the blacks surroundings.

an interesting mural (does it have a title?).. i'm not sure if b&w was the best option here though.. maybe it's just the pp, but the woman seems kind of lost in the frame, takes a second or two to notice her... i really wish she'd stand out more.. wonder what the colour version's like...

hello sebastien,

this one is also very nice,BW choice emphasizes the expessions of faces..the woman gives a lot to this photo.. and i guess she passed by this wall a lot of times before,she may have searched it before,cause she pays no attention to it even it seems impossible..
i also liked your previous photo with colors and also with a red dressed lady,sad it is gone..

Ce n'est pas le genre que je pr嶨鋨e mais il faut avouer que cette fresque a de quoi impressionner, en particulier le regard du personnage de gauche qui se dirige de fa蔞n peu sympathique vers la femme. Le noir et blanc est-il le meilleur choix? Difficile � dire sans l'originale mais il faut avouer que la femme ne se d彋ache pas beaucoup sur le fond (c'est certainement ce que tu voulais?). As-tu tent� une d廥aturation partielle en laissant seulement la femme color嶪? En tout cas, ta photo ne peut pas laisser indiff廨ent.

Le choix de la couleur est tr鋊 bon ici et te permet de jouer sur les nuances de gris pour coller cette personne sur le mur � la mani鋨e du graffiti ! Cela serait un trompe l'oeil que cela ne serait pas 彋onnant !

The drawings are a bit aggressive... I like the way the woman is clearly hasting her pace, like any woman would when crossing a neighborhood with those guys in it... it makes the photo strangely coherent, very interesting!

Hello Sebastien,
this photo reminds me a scene of the movies when doctors or someone is passing thru the alleys of a jail on those big US prisons, and the guys are watching them with this menacing look. Indeed this wall is a delight for the eyes and for the photogs that want to profit and have some really good looking pictures (like you).
Beautiful compo, and great PP work to enhance the mood of the photo.

I am just delighted by this shot. The converstion to B&W gives the artwork even more strenght. The woman passing by with determined steps as annoyed by the painted fellows on the wall gives this shot an extra spicy taste.
