Photographer's Note

Fern trees in Cirque de Mafate, Reunion island. Best thing you can do there is hiking through this wonderful moutains. In the little valleys you find waterfalls and pools to swim in or you can visit active volcanos.
Reunion is a melting pot, you can meet french, indian, african, portogues, chinese people and mixtures between them. There are even two kinds of white people: the "little whites of the mountains" and the "tall whites of the flats". The first have their origins some centuries ago, when some whites went to settle in the difficult to access regions of the cirques.

Preciosa foto de Reuni鏮 con una estupenda atm鏀fera, lastima que le falte algo de definici鏮, pero a𠒇 as�, es un espectacular paisaje.

Nice shot of a more than interesting place. It's really a pity that it lacks definition so much; I guess it's a scan from a print. The clouds between the trees and the mountains add a lot to the picture.

Although this shot lacks some definition, we can still appreciate the awesome landscape you depict here. The mountain looks incredible, rising so sharply in every direction to a razor's edge.

Another nice shot. As someone else has mentioned, it lacks some crispness but I think it more than makes up for that by just looking stunning. The mist is quite beautiful and that mountain in the center looks quite amazing...too bad the top is cut off.

this is a spectacular if technically imperfect picture. The fern trees, the steep smooth mountain ridges, the ocean in the upper left corner, I've never seen anything like that. It's very good that you published the pic on TE.

Cercando fra le tue foto che non avevo visto finora ho trovato questa : bellissima!!
mi piace la felce che si apre, mi piace lo stacco fra lo sfondo grigio e la vegetazione verde in primo piano. Dai l'idea di un luogo misterioso e fatato.
La prossima volta che ci vediamo mi racconterai di Reunion, non l'ho mai presa in considerazione ma sembra un paradiso e anche molto interessante sotto tutti punti di vista
