The taureau camargue, here a static version on Mas de la Fouque to Saintes Maries de la mer.

presence of cattle in the Camargue seems to go back up to the highest antiquity and to become confused with the formation of the geologic Camargue. We indeed found in Arles, in 2 km upstream, bones of cattle, in horns in the form of lyre, similar to those of Solutr (village of Sa獼e-et-Loire near M歊on, where we discovered numerous rests of prehistoric time).
