Photographer's Note

Taken from about 600 m above K霵igssee - the purest & cleanest lake in all of Germany. St. Bartholom�, a pilgrimage church lies at the foot of the Watzmann mountain range. It takes about 1hr 15min to reach St Bartholoma by electric powered boat from the "town" of Konigssee.

stunning perspective!
love the symmetry of the little house across the lake.
Wonderful control of the difficult color vs. dark out of all that deep forest.

Charming view, the church is in an idyllic setting, I was there at the end of october, unfortunately had bad weather, here the lake looks beautiful and inviting.

i particularly liked where you placed the church in this image. it is seen clearly with all the bright colors of the water, the forest, the reflections and the shore surrounding it. an awesome upload- clear, bright and sharp!

Hi Latiff,

originally this was the image which has caught my eye...i have found the place itself (St. Bartholom�) quite boring & very touristy....but the look at it from this eagle perspective is a stunner...perfectly framed to highlight the colour and the depth of the lake...cheers, arturo
