Photographer's Note
Taken from the shore of Königssee near the boat landing. Königssee is considered the purest & cleanest lake in all of Germany. Only electric powered boats ply the lake. It surrounded on both sides by steep & forested mountain slopes. It is also very deep - 190 meters. Took a boat from here to St Bartholoma with a German friend from Munich, and from there we hiked the Watzmann (Germany's second highest mountain) to Kuhriont Hütte. It was a steep ascend from St Bartholoma but the trail offers magnificent views of the lake & mountains of Germany & Austria. From Kuhriont Hütte we walked through the forest back to our starting point. See photo of this same spot with the background hidden in fog when we arrived in the morning here.
See more from this hike. More photos will be added to the theme.

Hello latiff,
what a nice view of this ecological lake as you write in your note! I'm impressed for the electric powered boats that navigate the lake. The environment seems to be idyllic and the part of the Mt.in the middle of the capture, that floodlight, set apart as the most bright in the shot.Well done latiff.
