Photographer's Note

This is Munich's prettiest public bath, the Mller'sches Volksbad, built in 1901 in the Art Nouveau style. It has two swimming pools, one regular size and one smaller one with warmer water. It is located right in the heart of Munich, opposite the Deutsches Museum and next to the river running through Munich, the Isar. It took four years to build the Volksbad and at that time it was the most expensive public bath (thanks for the info, Wikipedia). Although I personally find the water rather cold in there I would recommend visiting it if you have the chance as the building is also very beautiful inside and certainly worth a visit (note: you do NOT HAVE to wear a bath cap if you do not want to, but pants of course ;).
