Rothenburg ob der Tauber - a town in Germany, in Bavaria in the Middle Franconia in the district of Ansbach, in Frankenh鐬e, about 30 km north-west of Ansbach, Tauber River, on the A7 motorway and railway line. It is inhabited by about 11 thousand. residents.

Nearest big city: Nuremberg 60 km east of Munich - 170 km south-east and Stuttgart - 100 km south-west.
