"The whole walled town of Rothenburg is a museum. The wall connects five medieval gates complete with guard towers, dating from the thirteenth to sixteenth centuries. Walk along Rothenburg's narrow cobblestone streets and admire the gothic, renaissance and baroque houses and fountains. Besides itself, Rothenburg offers a complete card of good medieval concerts, festivals, plays from the middle ages, guided walks, historic hotels and restaurants, gothic churches, art exhibits, museums, suits of armor, and great Franken wine, etc...."

Hello RAy ,
I suppose that it was not possible to place the entire building in the frame . Despite of that , this is a good view of this outstanding gate . I like especiaaly the roofs and the succession of arches .

This sounds like an impressive complex, and your photos of it add to that impression, these peaked roofs are great, once again fairytale come to life and the way the building towers behind is excellent. The view through the gateway is an excellent lead line drawing the eye deep and standing guard there is somebody who looks like she is absolutely beaming to be in your shot! Great subtle blue and grey tones in the sky too which really compliment the colors of the buildings.

Hello Ray, yes, the whole of Rothenburg is like a museum, but living one, we can feel like in Middle Ages. And how good not to see the signs of Pizza hut or MacDonald. Beautiful symmetrical composition of this gate with a tower. Nicely done. have a nice Sunday MAlgo.
