Photographer's Note
Rothenburg's towers and gates are part of its impressive architecture, and there are 42 of them. Attackers in the middle ages would have to pass up to seven gates before entering the town.

Hi Ray,
Seven gates and I guess from each ot them all manner of things being dropped from above too! Is amazing when we see these towers today, we, or certainly I. See them as quaint and have mention the word fairytale a couple of times when in reality they have witnessed more bloodshed than I could imagine. Still, they do today present a beautiful scene and once again you captured that well, in great color.
Cheers

Hi Ray, Nice view of the Rothenburg tower. The attackers had a difficult to invade the town. Nice colours.
The one who was killed by Henry II was Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury. Samuel Beckett was Irish playwright and poet.
