Easter Fountain, a photo from Nordrhein-Westfalen, West

Photographer's Note

Here in my region many villages create an Easter Fountain � that means that the village fountain in Easter time is decorated with garlands and colourful eggs.

Because iron processing is located since about 2000 years in my region monuments and fountain motifs often are concerning this matter. Here in the village Dreis-Tiefenbach the village fountain is decorated with a bronze sculpture of an iron worker who handles red-hot iron in a smeltery with a huge pliers.
The fountain still is without running water because of the still frosty nights in my region.

Hi Frank,very original traditions from the villages of your region,truly a new thing for me. The decorations reminds a lot the Christmas days,but there aren't balls but eggs,correct! Interesting post and very sharp capture. Happy Easter to you too and thanks,Luciano

How good to meet up (on TE) again at Easter.
This is a lovely tradition and makes the village colourful as well as reminding us that Easter means eggs and new life.
It's a fine photograph, with diagonals in your composition, good textural details and sharp details.
