Photographer's Note
A chapel by Kuhrionhaus (1420m), a mountain restaurant & refuge where you can enjoy the view of the second highest peak in Germany - the 2713m high Mittelspitze in the Watzmann Range. Standing out on a shoulder of the mountain is the Watzmann Haus which you can see as a tiny structure on the mountain peak in this image.
Additinal notes:
The Watzmann is one of the deadliest mountains in Europe, consists of three separate summits: Hocheck, Mittelspitz, and the Sudspitz.
The Watzmann Haus, located at 1928 meters on a ridge above the tree line, is a refuge for climbers for over 150 years.
