Photographer's Note
Nafpaktos is situated on a bay on the north coast of the Gulf of Corinth. In Greek legend, Nafpaktos is the place where the Heraclidae built a fleet to invade the Peloponnese.

Hi, Jenne,
The history and geography were my favorite disciplines at school. Good presentation of the Central Greece, attractive composition, marvelous colors.
Best wishes,
Serghei

Ciao Jenna
Ciao e buona domenica
Romano

Hello Jenna ,
What a gorgeous view from the fortress ! I like especially the panoramic format and the contrast green-blue . May be a little lack of sharpness ?

Hello Jenna - I like the way you have composed this shot with the spit of land jutting out into the azure water and the rocky coastline in the far distance. The shot is lacking a little sharpness perhaps but as you haven't shown any EXIF data I'm not sure about the details of the camera, lens or upload resolution it is difficult to make any suggestions on changes to your technique. The trees and wall in the FG are pin sharp but you have used a shallow DOF which means the detail further into the shot get a little soft. For landscapes it is generally helpful to use a smaller aperture and focus about 2/3's into the shot. That way you can get front to back sharpness. I hope my comments are helpful as I read in your bio you wish to brush up on the technical side of photography. Please mail me if you like. Take care and warm regards Rosemary

hi Jenna,
When I seen the thumbnail for this, I was reminded instantly of the great wall of china, so many shots of that place have the wall peeping into the shot like this. Excellent perspective, the wall gives great depth, and a fine view of the town. Love the white stonework in the town itself, and that oh so blue water. Lovely capture, thanks
All the best

Hi Jenna,
what a wonderful view of this bay with blue water. I like the point of view and distribution of the elements here. Nice to see that a great part of this coast line don't have houses.
Thanks for the note.

Ciao Jenna
un panorama meraviglioso, tipico di questa terra, per conformazione e per colori.
Forse la foto è un pò troppo satura, ma non disturba, anzi, aumenta l'efficacia dello scatto.
Saluti
Carlo
