Arachova village view IV
Ar塶hova is a mountainous village nestling picturesquely at the foot of Mt. Parnass鏀 in Viotia, Southern Greece.It is the most cosmopolitan winter destination in Greece, a great favourite for passionate ski lovers and celebrities, or just first-time visitors who wish to relax in a dreamy mountainous setting with modern tourism facilities. Its modern ski resort, its close proximity to Athens, and its breathtaking mountainous landscape are the strongest reason why. Apart from the mountain activities, Ar塶hova is also famous for its bustling nightlife and as the favorite mountain resort of Athenians. It is located 35 km west of Livadeia.

Beautiful photo from a high POV, a picturesque village with beautiful old stone buildings, the vertical format is very well chosen, excellent composition

lovely scene you've captured here. there's so much stone, its very sharp and well textured as we view it. the splashes of red rooftops help bring our attention to the scene as well, and the clock tower is the icing on the cake. well composed.

View of the dome and tower were immaculately collected, superior clarity on this picture, I can count each brick on the wall and every roof-tile in red.

Wonderful view over the roofs and the domes towards the tower upon the rock.
A beautiful detail is the small covered balcony on the left.

This vertical composition gives an excellent view of the small yards in between the houses and also shows the church domes and the tower on top of the rock very well. The orange roofs bring colour to the cloudy day.

I did not know about Arachova until I saw this excellent package of photo and note. The walls and roofs are maintained perfectly. It's a good study of angles and colors.

Splendid vertical composition, which gives us a wide panorama, from the small courtyard in the foreground, facades and roofs, next to the church and standing out of all that, tower-lookout over the rock, dominating the whole.
Excellent POV, with very good lighting, color and sharpness to enjoy the details.

I like this POV, like a stolen capture across the little garden towards the different churches and towers, culminating with the clock tower on top of the rock.
Good contrast between the orange roofs, the green vegetation and the elegant, grey stone walls.
I also like the way you wrote your name on top of the wall as if you lived there :-)

very attractive village with ancient architecture filling the whole scene. Quite colorful place in spite of the cloudy weather. Plenty of interesting structures like a tower and a dome in the centre.
