Photographer's Note

Gulf of Corinth (Gr.: Κορινθιακς κλπος, Korinthiak鏀 Kolpos) - deep, narrow bay, the eastern arm of the Ionian Sea, which separates it from the western Gulf of Patras. Located inside Greece, and separates the Peloponnese (south) from the continent (north). It stretches from the Strait of Rion in the west to the east of the Isthmus of Corinth. The length of the basin 130 km, 8,4-32,0 km width, depth to 935 m. The waters of the bay are rich in fish. We crossed by ferry from the port Antirrrio on the north shore to the port of Rio to the south. In 1998 a bridge over the Gulf not yet. During the crossing, a short heavy rain, after which flourished in the sky rainbow.
