Photographer's Note

Today to you I will present my three photographic choices from the same bridge where you saw yesterday

You will make me the question: why once again my choice is to photograph again the same bridge in three image of different? I answer that also a simple bridge can play the part of Model in a photographer.
A bridge is a structure built to span a gorge, valley, road, railroad track, river, body of water, or any other physical obstacle. Designs of bridges will vary depending on the function of the bridge and the nature of the terrain where the bridge is to be constructed.

Hello Georgios,

Bridges usually make nice subjects for pictures. I guess because they have such interesting structures or perhaps because of the type of scenery they are associated with. This image is nice, with good colours and sharpness. The natural setting is interesting as well. Thanks Georgios.

Αν και η γέφυρα αυτή καθεαυτή πράγματι δεν είχε τίποτα να δόσει, εμένα μου αρέσει οτι ζωντανεύει ακόμη και αυτή με την επεξεργασία που έκανες, χωρίς να καταστρέφεται η ζωντάνια του ουρανού. Αυτό ζήταγα από την προηγούμενη φωτογραφία. Το κάδρο και η θέση λήψης πολή καλά όπωψς πάντα.

Παρακαλουθώ με ενδιαφέρον την σειρά σου με θέμα την συγκεκριμένη γέφυρα, τις γωνίες λήψης και το παιχνίδι με το φώς και τον ουρανό και να συμφωνίσω βέβαια ότι οι γεφυρες αποτελούν προσφική θεματολογία του φωτογραφου.

Hi Georgos. Both of your bridge pictures and so nice. The first is, perhaps, more dramatic, but this one make up in subtle detail. I like the bold, simple composition, with the bridge dissecting the frame, dividing it between that fluffy, blue Greek sky from the lovely sage green of grass land beneath. It is a lovely presentation of this part of Greece. Regards kevin

Good point of view gives fine lines in the composition, good diagonal!
The landscape and vegetation is still marked by winter, but I guess that has changed by now...
The sky makes a fine backdrop for the bridge!

Γεια σου Γιωργο.Η γωνια ληψης ειναι πολυ καλη με φυσικα χρωματα και καλο φωτισμο.Η γεφυρα ως τεχνητο διαχωριστικο των τοπιων κανει καλα την δουλεια της,πολυ ωραια κατανομη ουρανου-γης στην φωτο.

Hi Giorgo,
It's an interesting series, a kind of a study on composition. Although honestly I must say that I don't find the bridge particularly picturesque, like I think you state in your note, bridges are always a fascinating subject. I bet you a had a good time trying all those POV's and you succeeded producing these good images, all featuring a nice clarity and showing a landscape that looks very familiar to me. I would have hesitated much choosing which ones to put as main posts, but my favourite is, by far the WS#2, with the dramatic sky 'crushing' the bridge against the lower right corner and the naked trees guarding both ends.
