The Rio-Antirrio bridge (Greek: Γέφυρα Ρίου-Αντιρρίου), officially the Charilaos Trikoupis bridge after the statesman who first envisioned it, is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Gulf of Corinth near Patras, linking the town of Rio on the Peloponnese to Antirrio on mainland Greece.Its official name is the Charilaos Trikoupis Bridge. Charilaos Trikoupis was a 19th century Greek prime minister, and suggested the idea of building a bridge between Rio and Antirrio; however, the endeavour was too expensive at the time, when Greece was trying to get a late foot into the Industrial Revolution.

Absolutely wonderful! In my not at all humble opinion it deserves far more attention than it's got so far.
The exposure is spot on, that f/8 at 2 seconds is perfect to create a soft, most soothing, silky effect on the water, while retaining all the contrast and beautiful colors from midground up. Truly a GREAT job, TFS!

Από τις καλύτερες φωτογραφίες της πολυφωτογραφημένης γέφυρας. Πολύ καλή επιλογής θέσης αλλά χρονικής στιγμής, τέτοια ώστε να 'γράφουν' καλά και τα φώτα της γέφυρας αλλά και του ηλιοβασιλέματος.

What a gorgeous view over the water towards the impressive bridge and you captured it with some magnificent colours in the sky. The bridge itself is also very nicely illuminated. I like the low POV close to the sea a lot too. Thanks for sharing!

I did not still see it! (Only since the plane when I came in Greece last year). You magnificently associated the very beautiful lighting and the fantastic sunset.
I also like the relation create by the choice of the POV between the architecture and the mountains behind.
