Doryssa beach view in Potokaki
Potokaki beach Samos: Potokaki is a long pebbled beach located 14km west of Vathy, the capital of Samos, and 3 km from Pythagorio. Locals love this beach because of its nice environment and the amazing waters. Potokaki becomes very popular in summer and it has been awarded with the Blue Flag. Besides its clean waters, the beach is also well known for the organized facilities and water sports equipment.

I like the repetition of the triangular shapes of the wooden parasols. The photo offers a fine and relaxing view of the atmosphere on the beach on a sunny day.

Hello Costantino,
The wooden parasols placed on straight lines make a graphically nice impression. The life on the beach looks rather quiet, even one year before the Covid pandemic, so it should have been a nice place to spend a few hours along with an interesting book. The dark blu sea contrasts nicely to the lighter blue sky and the grey pebbly beach. The photo is well exposed and has a fine clarity.

The distance between the beach and the horizon is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the beach andd of the parasols. It is a relaxing scene. Have a nice day.

At first, I thought you were revealing a beach that was returning to normality but no, it was from your archives.
The pyramid shaped parasols are very distinctive and their repeating patterns create a good sense of depth as well as seeming to create a link between the sky and the sea.
It𠏋 a well exposed photograph, with well saturated colours.

Hi Costantino,
I see the umbrellas have already quite a distance from each other as if assuring a social distancing in covid-19 times.
Great repeated pattern here in the context of a wonderful beach.
I booked holidays in Bulgaria this year but they were cancelled -so I change them to Greece. I wonder whether they will get cancelled as well...

Costantino, beach chairs are installed under the wooden parasols to relax on that beach. That place isn t busy, some beds are empty. The picture presents the atmosphere in summer. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

This year everywhere, the beaches are semi-empty, well for those who enjoy them with few people, but a ruin for the Hospitality, in Spain it is the same, the sea with its beautiful blue invites you to swim.
