Hi Peter,
This is a fantastic photo. Its clarity is so stunning thet it looks almost unreal. Surreal feeling is even more enhanced by outstanding colours and strong, yet smooth contrast between light church and dark blue sky. Very well done!
Thanks,
Marek

Cute image!
It seems a sugar-cake house in Hänsel and Gretel.
The polarizing filter is very effective.

Excellent composition of a Crete - style building. This is different to so many structures seen before. Good colours and cropping. A little more note on what it is used for would be interesting for TE members.

Excellent shot! This looks like a clay sculpture or something. The colors are soft and the shot is so clear, so sharp. It is very inviting. You caputred something wonderful.

Superb contrast and sharpness, Peter. I usually don't like pictures of buildings just on their own, but this one works well because of the contrast of the building colours against the deep blue sky. Cheers . . . David

Dear Peter,
Something is wrong with the shadows, isn't it? The shadows at the entrance and from the roofs show that the sun is high and to the right of the church. While at the same time we have a weaker light from the left, which creates a shadow from the church to the right. It seems to me that you have made a photo of a MODEL and not of the church itself, using two sources of light. Am I right?
