Hello Annabelle,your wise choice of shutter speed has left just enough detail in the water to keep it interesting.
The spectacular scene is captured from a good POV and the vertical format works well.
I am not totally convinced on the BW treatment,but it remains a terrific piece of photography.

L'Islande en N&B, pourquoi pas. La pose longue donne un effet attirant vers le bas; heureusement qu'on est bien sur la terre freme.

Bonjour Annabelle,

L'exposition est superbement ma褾ris嶪, ce qui permet d'avoir cet effet vaporeux de l'eau. Et le traitement noir et blanc est vraiment beau, conf廨ant � l'image une certaine atmosph鋨e. Une comparaison avec l'image originale en couleur aurait pu 皻re int廨essante.

tes photos d'Islande me donne envie d'y retourner...(� l'epoque j'etais � l'argentique et suis trop nulle pour scanner!!)
un noir et blanc qui rend cette chute encore plus magique avec cette pose longue tres reussie et un ciel...� l'islandaise;-)

Great choice of location and viewpoint. The vertical format works really well, as does the slow shutter speed and the brooding fractional under-exposure, coupled with B/W treatment adds significantly to the atmosphere. Good choices all round!

Belle image, le mouvement de l'eau est grande montr�. Cette cascade impressionnante et magnifique. Une eau blanche contraste bien avec les roches noires.
