Time to get back to Iceland as I have hundreds to show, so I better get moving!

Malgo had commented on my previous Vancouver photo that she was hoping to see more from Iceland. I'm not so sure if this is what Malgo had in mind haha.
But she should know i'm going to post a lot of abandoned buildings and homes from countries like this!

Perhaps I'll show a softer side of Iceland soon. For now lets continue seeing some abandoned homes.
I found this place by complete luck. It was super early in the morning, approx 6am, I had just spent a cold night sleeping in my car. "Sleeping" isn't exactly the correct adjective, as I was awake most of the night. I decided to turn on my car and just get going.

This was about about a 30 min drive East of the famous Jokulsarlon Black sand beach with the large chunks of ice bergs. I'm sure you've seen that place before on TE, and I'll show more photos of it later.

I drove my car up the driveway and took a number of photos. In the WS will be 2 more, one showing a wider view in a different angle, showing how it sits upon its landscape.

Of course I went inside, but to my disappointment its basically just a body shell. It was a 100% disaster inside, no furniture, limited walls and floors. Its basically like looking at a lobster shell. However, its still very beautiful and rustic on the outside. This was a thrilling experience for me, I was in total photographic heaven during my time here.

There's no better way to start my day than exploring an abandoned home. My heart was racing, my blood pumping, it certainly got me excited and it reminded me exactly of the reason why I decided to travel here.

Hope you like it
