SELJALANDSFOSS
Seljalandsfoss is one of the best known waterfalls in Iceland.Seljalandsfoss is located in the South Region in Iceland right by Route 1 (Iceland) and the road that leads to Þórsmörk Road 249. The waterfall is one of the most popular waterfalls and natural wonders in Iceland. The waterfall drops 60 meters and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. One of the interesting things about this waterfall is that visitors can walk behind it into a small cave.
SELJALANDSFOSS

I can see the people who added scale to the view. excellent angle and image showing the beauty of the waterfalls. this remind me a higher waterfalls in chapada dos guimarães, where people was enjoying the waters when a huge block of sandstone fell down killing a girl. even in the photos of today we can see clearly the part that fell down, because that area of the stone wall is more clear.
take care

Hello Luciano,
You still have a lot of magnificent pictures of Iceland in your archive that are definitely worth showing us. Probably also a lot of other photos from other trips.
In the thumbnail I hadn't noticed the many visitors under the overhanging rock. What a pleasant surprise with a very spectacular view when I see the full size photo!
Did you also take pictures on the spot under the rock where these people were walking?
I suspect that the water falls into the pool with tremendous force.
Amazing scenery well presented!
Best regards, Paul

Bonsoir Luciano,
Passer en arrière de la chute doit faire monter le taux d'adrénaline dans le corps. la prise de vue permet d evoir les détails de la Seljalandfoss. Il y a un bon contraste entre les couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

Hello Luciano,
There is a similar waterfall in Qld (Purlinbrook Falls) where people can walk behind the falls at Springbrook. The people provide scale here and nice o see confirmation that Iceland is mostly green whereas Greenland is mostly ice! Tfs!

CIAO Luciano
My dream is to travel to Iceland, too. The waterfall that originated from the volcanic glacier is refreshing.
What's interesting is that there was a national controversy over building a curry house here in 2017. The Icelandic people seem to love the natural scenery extremely.

Hello Luciano,
Other members have shown this magnificent waterfall, but the view of people walking behind the water can be seen many times. They provide colours and a sense of dimensions to the fascinating scenery. There's an interesting detail in the WS, where we see a person, suitably dressed in red, who walked down to the pool. He must have been totally showered with the water.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Luciano,
That is indeed an unforgettable place. And this angle shows the entire fall and that path well. Did you go on that path? On my own visit wind blew so much water towards the cliff that there was no way I would have done it. And some people still did.

Ciao Luciano
I've seen lots of photos of this waterfall, but they are always taken from the path behind the waterfall so it's refreshing to see it form this viewpoint. I've never actually seen this one but been to one like that in Norway.
Classic light and weather conditions of the Icelandic summer - lots of greenery and lots of water! The colourful-clad people are a good addition to the photo.
Have a nice weekend

Ciao Caro Luciano,
Waterfalls are one of the features that we associate with Iceland and this is a magnificent example. The way that it splits makes it look more impressive.
You gave us a really good impression of its height, by showing it from top to bottom, and of its scale by including the many figures, all seeming like ants in comparison!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Luciano,
The waterfalls are impressive and look like a veil here in front of the impressive rocks. The people walking underneath them add a good sense of scale.

Hello Luciano, the tiny people emphasise just how high the waterfall is; they add a lot to the picture, also adding dots of colour.
It is a splendid photo, capturing the waves of water as they fall from this great height.
Did you walk on the path? I imagine that you would get wet from the spray.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Luciano
There aren't many waterfalls that you can walk behind. All the people help provide scale. Great pair of photos. did you take any photos from behind the falls?
cheers

Hi Luciano.
A spectacular image of this beautiful waterfall, to be a magical sensation to pass behind it and hear its sound of fall, thanks to the formation of the rock this is possible.
Very good color that highlights the strength of the image.
Superb brightness and sharpness management to capture image details.
Very well done. I like.
Have a good start to the week.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Ciao Luciano,
In spite of August you had quite a cloudy weather over there.
The result is magnificent but it made me think how unpredictable the weather may be there, and after terrible weather on Madeira I need to be even more careful with selecting travel destinations.
The waterfall is amazing and you have chosen a great POV to include to people walking behind it. They contribute a good scale markers which allows us to better appreciate the size of the place.
Excellent work,
M

Ciao Luciano,
This is a great view, showing just how tall the waterfall is, and how visitors can walk behind it. I like the specks of colors created by all the jackets, and the green moss is also pretty. Take care!

Hello Luciano,
A great photo of this popular waterfall, which I also had the opportunity to visit during my stay in Iceland.
The passing people in the background give the scales of magnitude.
Successful photo of good quality although the sky does not look bright on this day.
Best regards,
