Back with more drone photos - I only wish they were recent photos, but oh well, these will have to do for now.

Selfoss is only 1.2 km away from the most powerful waterfall in all of Europe, Dettifoss. Its a great spot because you basically get two waterfalls in one visit.

Selfoss isn't as spectacular, but the walk along the edges is quite the memorable one, which is something you can't really do with Dettifoss.

I arrived here early in the morning, way before anyone else, and I stayed a few hours walking along and taking photos, flying my drone. I'll post some other shots as well. Hope you like these.

Hello Craig,
It's nice to see you back. These three photos are fascinating, like most of your drone shots, but the colours and the distance to the ground make them all slightly abstract. I don't mind, I love it, but I see these views more like a creation of an artist than of God. Ha ha.
You asked about that church tower. I don't think it's ever open to the public, and for the time being, due to Covid restrictions, the entire church is closed.

Wonderful detail of the land formation with the dramatic gushing water contrasts beautifully. Lovely landscape, such great colouring and subtle light & shadow - nobody can hide from that drone - affording views we'd never see! Excellent capture

The waterfalls on the left of this photo remind me a bit of the Devil's Throat at the Iguassu Falls. But still different.
The Icelandic landscape and climate are of course very different.
Three impressive drone pictures.
I can imagine that the sound of the crashing water will stay with you forever.

Hello Craig, we get a real sense of the power of the water especially when the large version is opened up and we can view the drama.
The scene is quite abstract with light, textures and subtle colours.

Great set of photos looking at this amazing waterfall from more than one angle. Drone photography is full of opportunities.
In the main shot I really like the composition based on a diagonal line. It's an unusual thing for a photo of a waterfall.

curious as the geology of these falls are exactly the same of Iguassu falls, you can see clearly the same format in a larger format in iguassu created by the volcanic processes. very beautiful views. TFS.

I presume you saw images of the accident with tourists in a boat cruiser in a canyon in Brazil. check the video bellow:
