Tall Ships, a photo from Dublin, South

Photographer's Note

This was an amazing spectacular that really drew in the crowds. Docked for 4 days were a huge array of tall ships from all over the world. This shot is taken from James Joyce Bridge facing towards the sea showing the ships set against a much more modern backdrop than usually associated with Dublin. These high rise buildings help to show just how tall these ships really are. Irish flag seen in the distance on one of the ships to top the photo off.

Impressing shot of those tall ships. Nice how the fill the frame diagonally.
This really is a part of Dublin I haven't seen before. Looks quite modern.

An eye catching view indeed, the strength of this image lies on the splendid compostion in rich colors and this makes for me. Many elements bundled together with so much to see with interests, in this shot particularly love the detail of the ships and sheen on water. Fine clarity and contrast as well. Excellent shot. Kind of abstract compo with the historic tall ships in front of this 21st century glass covered pier.
Good POV that gives a nice depth.
