Photographer's Note
Hello everybody!
This is quite old photograph, taken on one sunny august 2006 afternoon. We took a dart from Dublin to Malahide and walked all the way down to Portmarnock. On low tides it is a great coast walk especialy when sunny and warm.
The rock formation behind this walking woman is called Ireland's Eye, it's is a small uninhabited island off the coast of County Dublin, Ireland, situated directly north of Howth Harbour but you basicly see its south face. A large variety of seabirds nest on this tiny island, including thousands of guillemots, razorbills, fulmars and gulls. Ireland's fifth gannet colony became established on the Stack in the 1980s. Unfortunately i have never ever seen any gannet in this area:(
Hope you'll like this view.
regards,
viktor

This quite old photograph of yours Vktor captured something very precious and speking honestly - very difficult to obtain in still photography...
A Grace Of Movement !
Smartly set DOF made that movement even more dynamic...
One may have the illusion that the lady out there is rather flying than walking...
Immaculate work, J.
have a great day

Hi Viktor. I like how you cut the scene off. I only wish that the woman was walking toward the opposite direction. It looks quite hot weather, I wonder if it's because of the bokeh in the foreground or the cloths people wear. Anyways lovely one!

Viktor, I like this image a lot. The play with the DOF turned out to be fantastic and gives a lot of attention to this lady. This shot tells a story and the interpretation of this story is open for the wildest imaginations.

Hello Viktor,
Superb layering effects you have captured here. The blurred FG gives way to a good slice of focus, highlighting the subject walking away. As previous remarks have stated, it is as if she is gliding over the ground, the whole image seems to have a mirage feel about it. It is a funny shot, it seems as if all of these people have been displaced and dropped in a remote desert like location. I would never have guessed this was in Dublin; it looks more like a salt pan in Death Valley, USA. The towering geological formation in the background is an exceptional feature and adds purpose and variety to your image. Excellent layered lighting, combined with good, strong clarity and contrasts makes this one of my favourite images of yours. The frame was a good choice also. Well done.
Matt
