Photographer's Note
Mount Errigal is the highest point of the County Donegal and stands 751 metres tall. This mountain is cone shaped and ends in a peak.
County Donegal presents an ever-changing spectacle of landscapes and seascapes set against a backdrop of mountains and moors, with evidence everywhere of traditional Irish culture. Donegal boasts a vast rugged coastline softened regularly by a succession of beautiful beaches with golden sand and clear fresh waters. Inland, Donegal is wild and unspoilt with winding roads leading to never-ending spectacular vistas.

Hi Steve,
A landscape full of focal points which makes my eyes speading are all over the place. The low pov within with a great depth where you get the maximum from your FF with wide-angle. Colours of the flowers in front in combination with the greens look wonderful. The small pool which ends in the lake were the mountain is waiting with a second interesting part....the light on it. That part really looks great with that more or less dramatic sky on top. The pola and grad did a very good job here.
I would clone out that large pole on the right, but that's just a personal thought in this great shot.

Hello Stephen,
A very clear and sharp picture of this beautiful Irish landscape.
The flowers at both side of the water and the white and dark clouds bring more colour and add to the good composition.

Stunnin, flawless, perfectly framed, perfectly exposed. Maybe you could have waited till the mountain was lit by the sun though, that would be my only suggestion. TFS.

Hi Stephen,
A perfectly well balanced composition with sharp details from foregroung to background and a great interplay of light and shade. The splash of colour from the foreground rhododendrons is extensively beautiful and stands out nicely against all that green. Remarkable stuff !

Hi Stephen,
I really fell in love with this wonderful mountain when I've been there a few weeks ago. It's really a fascinating one ! One more time you made a great shot of it. Perfect composition, a great point of view, with the river driving us to the lake and then to Errigal. Wonderful colours and marvelous light with the sun on the moutnain. From where exactly did you take this picture ?
Regards,
Olivier

Hello Stephen, A beautifully lit scene, and the low POV has really paid off, emphasising the height of the mountain as well as bringing us close to the foreground.
Great depth and lovely natural colours also.
Best wishes....Maggie

Hi Stephen this is a beautiful shot of errigal with lots of colour and a great POV that i wish id found when up there in April. The light is nice especially the bit on errigal.
One thing though, is that your shadow below the pink flowered bush on the right? if so i would try and soften it a bit in PS.
Best Regards
Gary

The colors in this are simply spectacular! The way you captured the light in this somehow managed to take the already goregous Ireland and make it look like heaven
