Villa Balbianello, a photo from Como, Lombardia

Photographer's Note

The famous Villa Balbionello is built on a wooded peninsula that juts out into Lake Como. It was built in 1787 and now belongs to the National Trust of Italy. This view is from the ferry, which goes quite close to the villa. I used a contrast mask in Photoshop to lighten the shadows and emphasize the clouds.
