Photographer's Note
The scream of grief of a daughter, a wife or a mother. The violence of late years. This is what I see in this portrait.
Taken during a performance of the theatrical group "La Madrugada" in a garden of Milan. You can see a photo of the group in action here
Update: I have added a B&W version after the critique of Kikvel.

Strong pic Gae, I would prefer a B/W here.
It is preferable I guess to eliminate the color and to highlight the expression.

Image terrible de ces cris de douleur, cette jeune femme semble exprimer toute la douleur du monde. La photographie est écrasante de peine mais d'une grande beauté. Amicalement/jr

This is a very good portrait Gae, but personaly, I don't see the grief in her face, also I think I prefer the B&W version. Do you have a new theme in mind her, 'photos named after famous painting', if I can't find one, I'll create it.

Ciao Gae, un bellissimo ritratto questo, hai colto e inquadrato perfettamente questo urlo, pare di sentirlo ... Effetivamente anche la versione in B&N è ottima, non saprei quale preferire.

Very powerfull picture ! Before I red your note, I really thought she has lost someone.
It is so strong, I can almost ear it!
Besides that, you've done well : sharpness is excellent and lighting is good. A marvelous picture.

Very good tight shot here of the emotion. Very well captured. The look of anguish is great. And I like the choice of color since it looks good and adds to the appeal. Anguish and pain in the middle of such nice, bright, colors is a good contrast in my opinion. The depth of field is good, too, adding to the drama and focus of the shot and blurring the colorful background. Excellent capture.

Hi Richard
A fine new theme - I must see what I can do - In fact do I have "the nightguard" on store somewhere - perhaps an idea -
I like the B&W version as well - a good job and a dramatic act you captured.

This is intense. The tight crop is beautiful too. This alos reminds me of Picasso's Guernica. Theagony and espair are so very well captured she must be a very good actress. Fantastic colors and sharpness.
