A view over the town from the antique Greek Theatre. Not much of a day for blue skies but I liked the sunlit fg contrasting with shadowy bg. There is a white cross atop the hill at right.

Hello Chris,
Even as the sky was grey, the light was upon the town houses and gave beautiful set of colors upon the slope.
A remarkable POV from yet a higher point.

Hello Chris,
A great view of the town beneath the steep hills. It looks very good even under the dark clouds. It's a very clear photo with all details among the houses well seen, even the white cross at the top of the hill.

Hello Chris,

Your notes describe the scene perfectly; a Greek town, built on the side of a hill, like rows of seats in an amphitheatre. The views will be good as well as the acoustics!
You used the f/g vegetation well, both for framing the scene and for linking to the b/g trees, for a fine sense of depth.

Under an overcast sky the white and light-coloured facades of the houses are bathed in sunlight.
A road zigzags to the large cross and the houses on the top of the hill on the right.

Hi Chris,
indeed if I ever get to Sicily I hope to have a better weather there but having said that for photography the light was great and the dark clouds are making a nice contribution here with the well lit town in the foreground.
