Capo Ognina � un bellissimo posto di mare in provincia di Siracusa dove si allenava e spesso effettuava i suoi record Enzo Maiorca.
Enzo Maiorca (Siracusa, 21 giugno 1931) � un apneista italiano pi� volte detentore del record di immersione in apnea. Nel 1988, quando si ritir� dalle competizioni all'et� di 57 anni, raggiunse il suo ultimo record di -101 m. in assetto variabile.
Famosa la sua rivalit� sportiva con il francese Jacques Mayol, sulla cui storia � stato girato un bellissimo film: "il grande blu".

Cape Ognina is a nice seaside in the Syracuse area where he trained and often carried his records Enzo Maiorca.
Enzo Maiorca (also spelled Majorca; born June 21, 1931) is an Italian multiple record holder in the extreme sport of free-diving.

A native of Syracuse, Italy, he was a pioneer developer of free-diving in the 1960s and 1970s. Maiorca held 13 world records in the "No Limits" class of free diving between 1960 and 1974.

Maiorca was fictionalized in the 1988 Luc Besson film The Big Blue as well as his rivalry with the French diver Jacques Mayol.

Ludo,
This is a fine action shot. You have frozen the motion of the diver perfectly yielding nice sharpness and detail. The lighting and colors are fine and the photo has excellent sharpness.

Il momento � decisivo. Lei ha congelato il tuffo del modo pi� bello. Essa ha anche il piacere di vedere il riflesso. La luce, i colori, la nitidezza sono eccellenti. Bravo.

non fosse stato per le braccia non distese sarebbe stato un tuffo alla Klaus Di Biasi da te congelato con un timing perfetto. Bella e doverosa la dedica ad un grandissimo atleta che ha scritto la storia delle immersioni. Complimenti.

Una bella dedica al Enzo Maiorca. Non ho mai sentito di lui prima, ma ha contribuito molto allo suo sport. Che bella questa foto, un vero Momento Decisivo. Hai gestito espertemente la diaframma qui, l'immagine e nitida come iun rasoio. Bellissimi i colori del mare. Questo luogo e un very paradiso, grazie per la condivisione.

Ciao Ludo,

I want to press on a button "PLAY" to see the continuation of the dive� But I forgot that it was photography !!! A very beautiful catch of sight and good timing on this estival action. I like much the quality of the image as well in the light as in the natural colors. The clearness of the image is also very appreciable. Well done, cheer Ludo.
