Hello James,
A clever observation of the possibilities offered here. You used the light and contrasts and the texture of the old wall to make a kind of "neo-realistic" composition. The result is quite impressive.

The strong light has been perfectly managed in this scene, creating a very nice contrast between the bright tones of the wall and the people almost in silhouette! The texture of the wall is also great! Wonderful composition!

Hello James,

Florence is very well represented on TE but I don't think I have ever seen it represented like this! You have concentrated on the figures rather than the architecture and shown them like a stream of statues, exhibited against the sunlit building.
It's an excellent composition.
