Photographer's Note

Luckily I broke the hard disk and I found a series of scans which do I dont remember to have.
Already I used to make more shots slightly altering data display or POV, when was something very beautiful; to my oak, I made three series, and I finished the thirty-six roll by, but worth the view was fantastic, this place today that I had discarded, because I felt better then the other that I have chosen to post.
I remember that this oak (Querce pubescens) is the largest living thing in Umbria, the dimensions are considerable, though not exceptional, five and a half meters of trunk circumference of a man's chest, about 22 meters height, circumference of canopy over thirty meters, is not the biggest oak in Italy, but is without doubt the most beautiful.
He lives close to Nottoria, not far from Norcia, and is the largest tree of Umbria. Because of its size, for his poise, for the life force intact stands out even in an environment rich by roverella of respectable size.
TO ALL THE FRIENDS OF TE BIG WISH A GOOD YEAR, HAPPY 2009
