Madonna and Child - Spello Art Gallery (PG)rnIt is one of the most beautiful and valuable works of the civic collection, probably made in 1503 by Andrea dAssisi (known as "the Ingenuity"), a refined pupil of Pinturicchio who is not foreign to the "modern" language of Perugia. A presence, this of ingenuity, which places Spello no longer in the Spoleto system but in the Perugian one of the "crypto lordship" of the Baglioni, holder of the papal vicariate of the small fief until 1583. It comes from the church of Santa Maria Maggiore.
