wow, a very unique shot from venice. superb compressed perspective makes it look like the industry is almost located side by side with history. of course tourists are not interested in those factories and they don't show them :)

A very unique view of Venice, the old city and the modern industry presented in layers like this, a really excellent idea for the composition. The golden light across the scene looks really superb.

impossibile restareindifferenti davanti a questa originale visione di Venezia, la mia citt� preferita.
Un taglio straordinario e l'uso del tele hanno creato una magica contrapposizione tra la magica bellezza della citt� e le brutture di Marghera che dalla terraferma minacciano il delicato equilibrio della laguna.
Complimenti. Un'opera meritevole di lode per il significato e per la realizzazione.

Hello Andrea,
This is a superb and fascinating photo and a rather unusual composition, showing the factory chimneys so close to the classical view of Venice. The colours are marvellous, especially the contrasts of the pink/red/yellow industrial background and the blueish classical view. They could almost be seen as symbols of Heaven and Hell.

An original one from Venice. We are not use to the see the chimney of the factories with the canals.
Light and color is superb.

Interesting focus,Ive never seen Venice like this I know ""The other side"" is a busy and industialised area,but walking into the small streets of the town you have no idea ;=].

A great pov and composition! I like the colours and he contrast between what we see in foreground and the background. Just a pitty to see such polution, but the shot is very good.
