Photographer's Note

Apart from the mandatory tour through Venice we spent some time just walking. Preferably in the oposite direction than tourists. You would be surprised what quiet places one can find just 200 m farther.
That's one of my favourite photos. I have it framed and displayed in my home private gallery.

Tech.note: rather lousy scan from the negative needed quite an effort with NeatImage but I hope you enjoy the results. Saturation slightly increased in R and Y. Unsharp mask after downsizing to TE

My first impression was that it is a bit too centered. However, I couldn't imagine how this picture could be otherwise. Nice colors and reflection.

Nice shot. Venice is eyecandy but hard to photograph, due to the very narrow streets. You managed to get a beautiful composition, here.
Try to visit Venice during winter. It's calmer, and I dare to say, even more romantic that time of the year.
