Photographer's Note
Hard to say whether in Venice during Carnival there are more masks or photographers. For sure as soon as a mask shows up, at least a dozen photographers also appear from the crowd. They remind me the sharks when they smell blood.

Ciao Stefano,
Nice to see you.
Your post reminds me when I was in Venezzia during Carnaval time (in 2003 I think).
I like the fun you kept the photographer in the frame, showing what the Carnaval is really.
Nice lightning from early morning.
Here, I would have liked to have a more wide angle view to better include the bridge in background: just a little more.
Yves.

Ciao Stefano
Off the beaten track shot of Venezia carnival not showing us a mask or a costume, as so often
I like your description of vultures when you talk about photographers at this special period of the year
Really must be frantic !
Best regards

Hello Stefano,
The red dress stands out wonderfully against the BG. There is also nice light on the canal and parts of the walls. I like the good balance of the composition although, for me, I would perhaps have preferred not to see the photographer. A super image with excellent sharpness and light management.
Kind Regards, Ann

Hi Stefano
Nice to see you back. very good Venice picture mixing the carnival scene but with only 1 person, so attractive in her red cloth, and 1 photographer (a real challenge) and the famous canal and building.
Cheers

Hello Stefano
And you're one of the sharks! As I was a couple of years ago. Oddly, I was a little shy of shooting masquers to begin with, but soon realised that it was expected and practically "de rigeur" to do so. I remember a couple of them wandering about looking for a cameraman at about 0600 in the morning! And it looks (if I've got my geography correct) that this was shot pretty early in the morning too. Lovely perspective, and that splash of red forms a great counterpoint to the gentler colours of the rest of the frame. Good work.
Regards
Will

Hello Serg Stefano. Beautifully. A photo like from a movie. You've photographed in the right moment. The color red plays an important role in this photo. Really beautiful and worth seeing.

Ciao Stefano,
Two splendid elements on these picture;
the canals of Venice and the photographer makes a choice with this model. Everyone know what a difficult picture for take, you did everything perfect.
What a lovely image with different colors and fantastic light management.
Excellent captured, nice composed, TFS.
Have a nice week,
John.

Ciao Stefano,
Bravissimo. I miei più vivi complimenti
Ciao e buon inizio di settimana
Romano

Hi Stefano
I know you wanted to display a more unique set of photo's from Venice during the Carnival - so here we have another one.
perhaps NOT as unique as your previous post, but very cool indeed.
you have the charmed bridge at the left, the waterfront and the striking red as your focal point.
nicely done
cheers

Ciao Stefano, I like your note very much! Sometimes photographers are really like shark, specially when they see someone in red:). Wonderful composition. great shot, so well observed and presented. And the place seems so remote.
Warm regrads

ciao Stefano
pretty interesting a POV here and excellent timing to snap the snapper, .. this must be very symbolic a view of this famous city in the carnival period; .. exposure seems perfectly fitted and detail are great, .. well done

nuri :)
