You must be in a great state of anticipation ... the beginning of a holiday is so exciting, especially in this beautiful country!
A fine capture of these tall, terraced houses, with colours to match the vivacious nature of its population. Your well chosen viewpoint and vertical format emphasise the steepness of the hillside.
The boats give a clue to its location.

Bonjour Serge,
J'aime bien ce cadrage qui sort un peu de l'ordinaire concernant les villages des Cinque terre. L'angle assez bas donne une impression de "Tetris", o� ces maisons s'imbriquent les unes sur les autres tant elles sont regroup嶪s.Ce qui frappe dans ces villages, c'est la grande harmonie des teintes, avec tous ces volets verts (hormis une maison "rebelle").

I really enjoyed this spot, it was one of my favorites along Cinque Terre.
Vernaza was also beautiful.

You took this one in excellent lighting conditions, it made all the difference. warm, and not overblown.
perfect blue sky too.

It's a good shot of this beautiful place. I like all these colourful houses along the slope, the clothes dry, the chairs and the little boats... Seen from this place looks like a toy. Beautiful light and colours.
