Villa Widmann
Villa Sceriman, Widmann Rezzonico, Foscari, Costanzo is a Venetian villa of Mira, stands on the quiet shores of Brenta, which, as a mirror reflects onlows, limes and noble country houses belonging to Venetian patricians.
The palace was included in the goods that at the beginning of the eighteenth-century Diodato Sceriman had been given in dowry by his wife's family, the Tornimbeni. An engraving by Giovanni Francesco Costa dating back to that period clearly shows how the palace was very different from the present, without the annexes that Sceriman himself built according to the agricultural activities that took place in the neighboring funds.

Hello Silvio,
I like the point of view and the inclusion of the monumental column. The visitors supply scale and enliven the scene. Very good technical realisation.

This is a delightful composition. The building is elegant and the column with a sculpture is well placed near the corner. All the persons seen in the photo are well placed, as if you had told them where to stand, and the two closest to us contribute fine colours.

This is a beautiful villa!
I like its wrought iron, decorated balconies, tall windows and wooden shutters. It looks so classy!
The curved steps are another excellent feature.
You have placed the pillared statue very strongly in the frame, anchoring the f/g and giving a good sense of depth.
The inclusion of the figures adds life and colour to the scene.
