Fountain of Vescovado � Spoleto

It is located inside the courtyard of the bishop's palace, under a small but elegant porch built in 1655; Is inside a central niche, side by side with other two disadvantaged sides, leaning against the wall of the palace; On the base is dated 1629. The water came from a cannula placed in the mouth of a carved face in the stone. The small tub is corolla-shaped.
Nearby, leaning against an external staircase, there is another fountain with a rectangular basin, perhaps of reuse. The cannula is located in the center of a rounded stone oval, engraved with the monogram of San Bernardino and that of Mariano.

Hello Silvio,
Another very carefully composed photo with a fine exposure. It would have been perfectly symmetric unless the large flower pot had been placed slightly to the side. ;-) But it is usually good to have something breaking the symmetry slightly. It's a beautiful arch and niche with very pleasant colours.

Another fountain for your theme but this is recessed, rather than being open to the elements, and creates a very pristine impression.
It is very well composed, by you, in a symmetrical format, and is enlivened by pretty flower displays.

I am very impressed by how many fountains you have in your home town. I thought it is a relatively small town and now I keep being surprised by the number of ancient churches and now also fountains.
This is a cute little one here, well placed and decorated with pots with flowers.

Hello Silvio,
A good photo of the small fountain in the middle, right behind the pink flowers. I like how it is surrounded by several arches. The largest one frames the entire photo very well, too and adds a nice and warm tone.
