Part 4 in the series,
by now the peace marchers have gathered pace and the police are struggling to contain them. A comment was made about the worried looks on the faces of the police before and I can understand there worries. The thing is when you saw the carabanieri (the semi military police) they were almost smiling, as if spoiling for a fight.
I shot these two young girl protestors as they walked quickly past. I used a slow shutter speed and panned to blur the motion and give a sense of speed and drama and used 2nd synch flash which works better for movement.
