The great Oak of Nottoria in autumnal dress, The pubescens Oak, Quercus pubescens are a high tree, until 20 m, that can also exceed 2 m of diameter. It is enough long-lived, diffused from southern Europe to Anatolia. In Italy it is much diffusing, adapted to limestone, argillaceous, barren, full of rocks lands. The chioma it is hemispheric in adult exemplary, the leaves sand banks persist on the tree during the winter.
