Very good captured of the dome. Including just the top of the baldachino with the light streaming onto the cross adds to the upward feel. The lines of the dome are really nicely captured. It's good and sharp. And the streams of light across the dome add to the mystical feel here. And it's always hard to understand the size of this place in photographs because of the proportions of everything. But this really does give me a very broad and huge feel. I don't know if it's because I really know how large it is and this just reminds me or just how broad the dome looks from your excellent point of view. And how large the medallions in the corners look compared to how tiny everything is up in the oculus. Very nicely done. Do you happen to have the exif data for this so you can find out the shutter and aperture settings?

Another excellent photo of Rome (Vatican). All the exquisite work in the ceiling. I like it. TFS
