Photographer's Note
Interesting thing about this place is that if you would convert it to sepia it could pretend to be done 50 years ago. And imagine this place at the time when Venice was at the top of its power. It must have been much more crowded.
Our stroll through the valleys of Venice is now more than halfway through. There are still one or two places to see. I hope you enjoy this walk

Quite good photo with a strong composition and colours, Marek.
If you have stood right in front of that building, you could've had its horizontals straight which then would enable you to get rid of the top bit (newly built attick & dull sky) by cropping it out.
Nice framing.

A well caught feeling of Italy in this facade shot. I guess you desaturated a bit?

I like the colours tones and contrast in this one! Beautiful details on the buildings. Well composed.
I am not sure about the frame though.
Venice looks abolutely amazing. I guess this is one of those "have to see" places.
Well captured, Marek!

Very nice sepia kind of colour tones. The details show sharply and it is an interesting view of a Venice street. Such good memories for me of our trip to Italy in September 2002 also. I think it is good having the man in the bottom left corner too.

Nicely presented image. Although, I'm told the brown frame you need to get rid of in favour of a black or white number.
Good job Marek,

Nice Venice shot. It's a nice quiet scene for a nice, sleepy, town once you leave the touristy areas. The building is captured beautifully. And this little square as well. The person adds a nice touch of depth. Perhaps it's a bit soft, though and low on contrast. I tried a workshop just to tinker with it a bit. I hope you don't mind. You certainly did capture a great atmosphere here, though.

wow. i like what you done with the colors. it look like the old postcard. venice is unique place, great for taking pictures and i like it very much. i like te small bridge in the center, so the picture can be only from venice even the water is not visible. the frame look nice. good job.
