Photographer's Note

I do not know who they are. They didn't look like tourists neither seemed they to be local citizens. Maybe students. Venice is full of students, I observed. I wish I could be there during my university time. A three days visit cannot compare to a year or more there. I think I will go there again. And again.
To breathe this city. To breathe a breath I ineffectively tried to capture on my photos and share with you.

Alleyshots are difficult, at least I never get it right. This one works thanks to many things, the guys of course, the reflections, the arch bridge and the warm facades of Italy. I think a little careful burning on the upper mid section can bring out a little more. Maybe an ever so careful dodging of the bridge masonry too.

marek, I disagree with your statement of your innefectivity at capturing the essence of Venice. All of your Venice shots are superb. I've been there on 4 ocassions and only one with a camera! Now that's a pity.
