Chocolate Piazza Veneto, a photo from Turin, Piedmont

Photographer's Note

The piazza Vittorio Veneto goes down slowly up to the Bridge Vittorio Emanuele I who allows to cross the river Po. It was to build between 1815 and 1830.
On the other side, an attractive sight on the hill which dominates the river with the small lights of this residential area of Torino and the neo-classic church floodlit Gran Madre di Dio.
The small tents to the right serve for protecting chocolate makers' stands coming from Turin but also the others region of Italy. It is an exhibition which takes place in Turin every year in February and March. Tastings and purchases to the program.

La piazza Vittorio Veneto scende delicatamente fino al Pont Vittorio Emanuele I che permette di attraversare il Po. essa � stato costruire tra 1815 e 1830. dell'altro lato, una vista graziosa sulla collina che predomina il fiume con le piccole luci di questa zona residenziale di Torino e sulla chiesa n廩classica Gran Madre di Dio illuminata.
Le piccole tende a destra servono a proteggere supporti di cioccolataio che vengono da Torino ma anche da altra regione dell'Italia. � una mostra che si svolge a Torino tutti gli anni in febbraio e marzo. Degustazioni e venta al programma.

Bonsoir Diane,

excellent quality and without tripod...I can hardly believe it! (well of course I believe you...you know what I mean :) It is remarkable how you used the row of street lamps to your advantage to lead the observer to distant architectural monument. And the another one (necklase like line behind the monument) leading to hill settlement. It gives gentle dynamics to otherwise calm night atmosphere. I also like the framing very much, it excellently balances white lamps.

pour une photo sans tr廧ied la nettet� est bonne une main bien ferme... un cadrage qui me plait bien avec l'all嶪 de lampadaire qui guide l'oeil sur le batiment du fond, et les petites lumi廨es dans le ciel donne un petit plus � la photo

Oh mais tu trembles pas trop encore, ahah !
Une compo sympa, les lampadaires sont superbes et forment une belle ligne. J'aime beaucoup l'ambiance un peu brumeuse de cette image 嶲alement.
J'irai bien visiter ces tentes ;o)

Hello Diane. Excellent night shot here and I like the lamp posts in rows creating depth leading to the building. The lights on the hill looks like stars and well balanced in this almost square format. Good job and very well done. Jusni

Hi Diane! They is a square picture of night! The litted up points of building impress. Luminous the lamps create the impressive line of prospect perfect the use a 400 asa and support in per lamp-post equal saved the shake cameras. Bravo

Belle image de soir嶪 , surtout sans tepied tout un exploit , d嶨initivement tes imp矌s sont pay廥, sans tremblements. bravo j'aime tes textes c'est pas possible comme j'apprends des deux facettes photo et histoire . Une belle utilisation de cette perspective cr澭e par les lampadaires, pour conduire le regard jusqu'� l'arri鋨e plan et cette colline comme parsem嶪 d'彋oile.
